How do I make sure my PAVE vehicle inspection goes smoothly?

The PAVE app provides helpful on-screen instructions to guide you through every step of the inspection process. In addition to carefully following those instructions, here are a few suggestions for ensuring a smooth inspection:

  • Complete your inspection during daylight hours for the best lighting

  • Use the on-screen guides to properly line up each photo

  • Ensure the full vehicle is in frame where you’re able to see both land and sky in the background

  • Check your mobile phone's signal before beginning; you may need to disable your Wi-Fi connection and rely on your cellular service to complete the process
